Our Doctors
Dr. Daniel Kelly
DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Daniel Kelly graduated from Michigan State University in 1989. After a short stint in Colebrook, New Hampshire, he and his wife opened Stonecliff Animal Clinic in Bradford, Vermont.
Big or small, he has taken care of them all. Dan has spent many years and hours of continuing education to follow his interests in orthopedics. In the spring of 1999 he received his license to perform a very unique procedure called Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO).
For many years Dr. Kelly was the only surgeon in Vermont to perform this procedure. In the summer of 2000 Dan attended Ohio State University and was trained to perform total hip replacement surgery. With a keen love of surgery, and a special interest in canine sports medicine, Dan spends many hours repairing broken bones and ligaments.
Away from the clinic he is kept busy with his four very active children, a major farm renovation, and lots of horses, ducks, turkeys, dogs and cats.

Meet the Team

Growing up in Enfield, NH, I’ve always had a love for animals and pictured working with them when I was older. I began riding horses at 9 years old, and got my first puppy for my 12th birthday. Buddy was a boxer and inspired my love for the breed. I attended Vermont Technical College for two years studying equine. I’ve owned many animals over the years, taking a special interest in the unique and unusual. I’ve owned a chinchilla, a hedgehog, many fish, and even a mini pig! I currently own two boxers (Killian and Ember), two ferrets (Splash and Farrah), a cat (Luke), a hamster (Chip), and an English bulldog puppy (Bruno). I’m hoping to pass on my passion for animals to my 2.5year old son James! It’s been a pleasure joining the Stonecliff family and I’m so thankful to be part of such a knowledgeable and dedicated team who puts their heart into every client and case! I can’t imagine being anywhere else!

From a young age loving and caring for animals has been a large part of my life. I now have my own two rescues, a dog named Guppy and a cat named Maple. In my spare time you can find me hiking with Guppy, or spending time with family. I am grateful to have joined the Stonecliff team that has given me an opportunity to work in an amazing place where I can not only share love for my own animals but our patients as well.
Faith
Faith grew up in New York and had, what her Father called, a “menagerie” of pets- from fish to turtles to bunnies. All she ever wanted was a kitten. However, their family cat would never allow another feline in the house. So, it seems, her parents overcompensated. After many years in Colorado and California she decided to move back to New England to be closer to her growing family – she is now a Great Aunt 5x’s over. She spent 5 years as a Receptionist /Secretary in the ICU at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Now Faith is thrilled to have joined the professional, dedicated and compassionate team at Stonecliff Animal Clinic! She loves to read, watch movies, garden, ride her townie, play with her Grand- nieces and nephew, and has two wonderful rescue kitties to call her own.
Emily
My love for animals started when I was young. I could always be found “bossing” my old Shepard mix, Samantha, around. I guess that’s the reason I became a dog trainer! I got my trainer certification in 2015 and have worked in corporate pet stores to small mom and pop stores. I was not only training pups, but also helping everyone get what they need to care for their furbabies in the best possible way. I have a 6-year-old who shares the same love of animals as her mama, a 3-year-old long haired white cat named Mochi and a rambunctious almost 1 year old dark sable coated Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Talia! I was thrilled when asked to join Stonecliff; “What better way to help enrich and better the lives of people and their pets, than join this wonderful team?!

It was clear from a young age when I would dress up our cat, Midnight, and walk her in my doll carriage that I had a special love for animals. I grew up outside of Boston in a small seaside town, Swampscott MA. Growing up we had 2 cats and dogs throughout the years. Upon graduating from High School, I pursued my other passion, Art, and pursued my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Monsterrat College in Beverly, MA. While I love to paint and create, it wasn’t until I graduated from college that I realized that my love of animals was my true passion and one that would lead me to a career in Veterinary Medicine. I began working at North Country Animal League in Morrisville, VT where I truly understood this passion could become a career. From there I went on to join the team at Sequist Animal Hospital and pursued my license as a Veterinary Technician. I have worked in many hospital settings, both small and large, including Randolph Animal Hospital and Mass Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn MA. I have continued to advance my skills working in Emergency medicine at SAVES in Lebanon NH to currently having the privilege of working at Stonecliff Animal Clinic. I enjoy working with all animals in every capacity, but I have become passionate about surgery and have been fortunate to focus my skills in this area. I take great pride working at Stonecliff for a multitude of reasons; a few being the quality of care and empathy that is shown to each, and every patient and client is extraordinary, from the physicians to the support staff. What I love most is that it is a family environment, and I am honored to be a part of that. I am the mother to a very active two-year boy who is my greatest passion in life. He already shares my love for animals, and they are a big part of our family. We spend most of our free time enjoying the outside with our fur babies Kya our 11-year-old Pitty, Abu our 15-year-old kitty and Frankie our 7-year-old kitty in addition to our cows. I am still a beach girl at heart and love spending time by the water, being outdoors, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying all that life has to offer!
Hope
If you ask anyone how Hope wound up in veterinary medicine, they’d probably say “it all started with dog breed books”. When Hope was very young, she would carry a book of dog breeds with her like it was her very own canine bible. At times, even asking her parents to turn the car around if she had forgotten her book at home. So, needless to say, her chosen profession was a surprise to no one. From carrying around dog books, saving cockroaches from the clutches of someone’s boot, trying to revive chipmunks and sneaking stray cats into the house… that love and fascination of animals led Hope to the field of veterinary medicine in 2018. From starting as a client service representative at an emergency veterinary hospital, to pursuing animal shelter medicine as a veterinary assistant, to delving into the role of veterinary technician in emergency, and now stepping into her role at Stonecliff as a wellness and surgical veterinary technician. When Hope isn’t bouncing all around the hospital, she enjoys; kickboxing, writing, reading, walks in the woods, days by the lake and spending time with her 2 dogs, 4 cats and pony.
Lizzy
I grew up surrounded by animals. From helping with farm chores, to working at a rescue, and now working with an amazing team at SACNH as technician assistant. I have always had dogs and cats in the multiples, along with my fair share of exotics, and farm animals. I have settled down to my loving dogs: Honey, Captain, and Athena, my two cats: Sugar, Sylvia, and last but not least my bearded dragon Ink. With a passion to learn and experience new things, I have a special interest in dentistry, nutrition, and dermatology! I could not imagine working in better place that pushes me to be my best. When I am not working, you can find me reading or exploring with my dogs!
Raianna
There has never been a time in my life that did not involve animals. I grew up in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire playing multiple sports, riding horses, and volunteering for the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. I graduated from Becker College in 2018 with a BS in Biology and a minor in Equine Studies, where I competed on the college’s Equestrian Team, and helped run the Lambing Team and Pre-Veterinary Club. All of my pets are rescues; I currently have a cat, a leopard gecko and guinea pigs. I have had rats, dogs, birds, and fish too! My passion for animal health, welfare and education brought me to SACNH. I’m really glad I found SACNH because it’s such a wonderful place to work, everyone there is absolutely amazing and talented, and I’m not discouraged from learning. When I’m not there, I enjoy being outdoors, reading Stephen King books, and painting pet portraits for pet owners.
Danielle
Born on the coast of NJ before moving to the New England region at the young age of three, Danielle and her family have lived a nomadic lifestyle for much of her youth, living first in various locations across VT, before finally settling in NH during her college years. Danielle learned to love and respect all forms of life at a very young age thanks to her parents, especially her mother who often rescued animals in need and took in various strays. She grew up with everything from cats and dogs to horses to birds to fish to pocket pets to reptiles. There was no animal that hadn’t made their way into their home at one point or another, every single one loved and cared for beyond belief. As a young adult, Danielle attended Champlain College and earned her BS in Criminal Justice, originally aiming to become an animal cruelty investigator. She wanted to give a voice to those who could not speak for themselves and to stop the many injustices in the world. To bide her time after graduating, she took a job as an animal care technician at Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society in West Windsor, VT and ended up loving the job immensely, spending two years of her life there before sadly saying goodbye in an attempt to utilize her degree at a VT courthouse. It was a short-lived experience and she left six months later to return to the field of animals, taking up a position at SAVES in Lebanon, NH. This is where she first met the Kelly’s and the Stonecliff family. Since then, Danielle has decided her calling is truly that of working with animals and has stayed in the field. She remained at SAVES for two and a half years before leaving emergency medicine and pursuing general practice at Plymouth Animal Hospital in Plymouth, NH where she stayed for almost six years. It wasn’t until she felt the need to expand her knowledge and skills in vet med that she made the bittersweet decision to part ways with the friends she had made and luckily was welcomed with open arms to none other than the original family that introduced her to veterinary medicine. Danielle aims to grow in her career while at Stonecliff, aided by the amazing team amassed by the Kelly’s. She also hopes to attend online tech school and become a certified veterinary technician down the road. In her occasional free time, Danielle loves to cuddle her kitties, visit friends, sketch, take photos, or read a good novel. She also enjoys reading up on topics that interest her in the field of vet med. Her biggest subjects of interest are feline medicine, veterinary pediatrics (she has hand raised and bottle fed many bottle babies throughout her career), animal behavior, wildlife/exotic medicine, and veterinary forensics. Danielle adores “nerdy things’ ‘, Lady Gaga and Halloween. Additionally, Danielle loves to travel though hasn’t had a ton of opportunity to do so yet. She claims to be a bit of an adrenaline junkie, her biggest claim to fame being jumping off the Strat Tower at 829ft while in Las Vegas during October 2019. Asides from her conventional human family, Danielle finds herself living with her robust and rowdy fur family which currently consists of a troupe of seven fabulous feline: Loki, Flik, Jack, Whisper, Bam Bam, Stormy, and Pep…as well as snickety corn snake named Tango. She hopes to someday add more critters including horses and a pitbull or two.
Sydney
I have always had a strong connection and passion for animals, so I knew at a young age I wanted to help them every day when I grew up. I started working with animals at 16 & am currently working on completing my Veterinarian Technician certification! Stonecliff has taught me to never go a day without learning something new and to keep pushing myself to reach all of my goals, and I am so grateful for all of their support and love! My life is completed by a chocolate lab mix named Luna, 2 cats named Otis & Blue, and a snake named Shiera. All rescued ♡ When I’m not working, you can catch me on the trails with Luna, or cuddled up with the cats writing a paper!

Rachel
Hi! To whomever this may come across ❤️! My name is Rachel, and I am currently a senior in high school. My goal after high school is the further my education in animals. Growing up I have always had much love for animals and a curiosity of their anatomy. I have also recently found an interest in helping not only animals but humans. I am enrolled in the EMS/Fire program at Riverbend Career and Technical Center. I am definitely in between my vet tech and my EMT. My heart is set on getting my vet tech. If I was to become and go about my EMT, I think I would do it part time. Maybe 24 hour shifts?! I do have a couple of colleges in mind for my Vet tech. (Penn Foster, and Vermont State University “in Randolph.” I would like to work my way up and then maybe also go for my veterinary medicine degree! I am still young, and I have so much ahead of me! I am also beyond thankful for finding Stonecliff Animal Clinic working here has been a pleasure. The hands-on experience is wonderful and to me very beneficial for my future.

Abigail
My passion for caring for animals started at a young age. I can remember going to the camp at the local humane society and loving working with all of the animals. Then as it became time to look for jobs, it was clear that the ideal position would be in an animal hospital, helping in every way possible. With 7 years of prior experience, the desire to continue learning and improving my skills, I came across SACNH and am grateful for all of the support they offer! In my off time I enjoy spending time with my fiancé Nick and our two cats Milo and Pinto.
