Caring For Others
Stonecliff Animal Clinic of New Hampshire is committed to caring for our community through education, leadership, and involvement in programs for the less fortunate.
The Brutus Fund
Staff from Stonecliff Animal Clinic of NH, as well as Small Animal Veterinary Emergency Services (SAVES), created the Brutus Fund in memory of a Great Dane named Brutus whose owner had died, leaving Brutus alone in the world.
Brutus stayed with his owner until they were discovered, and was brought to Stonecliff/SAVES to be cared for until other family members could be found. Relatives soon adopted Brutus, but he died the next day of Gastric Dilation Volvulus.
Brutus touched all that knew him for the short time he stayed with us. Relatives suggested starting a fund to help area animals in need, and thus, The Brutus Fund was born.
Thanks to a very dedicated community member, The Brutus Fund became a 501c3 non-profit organization. The Brutus Fund is available to help families in our community with short term financial issues that can not afford lifesaving care for their pet in an emergency.
Recipients of the fund are asked to contribute back when their financial situation changes so that someone else can take advantage of this service. Area veterinary hospitals are welcome to inquire about funding for their patients in need by contacting info@thebrutusfund.org.
If you would like to donate to The Brutus Fund or be considered for funding, please contact the Brutus Fund at info@thebrutusfund.org.

Pet Peace of Mind Program
This wonderful program helps hospice patients keep their pets at home with them throughout their end of life journey. Pets offer so much to all of us, the human-animal bond is an extremely strong connection.
For hospice patients the comfort of a pet, the unconditional love they feel for their owner, and companionship gives them the strength to greet each new day.
Stonecliff Animal Clinic of New Hampshire is proud to offer our free and discounted services to this wonderful program.
Canine Police Officers
Stonecliff Animal Clinic of New Hampshire is proud to care for the Lebanon Police Department’s Canine Officers Max and Briggs.
We are also proud to contribute medical care to the Vermont State Police Canine Officers as well as the U.S Parks Service Canine Officer Herk.
