There has never been a time in my life that did not involve animals. I grew up in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire playing multiple sports, riding horses, and volunteering for the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. I graduated from Becker College in 2018 with a BS in Biology and a minor in Equine Studies, where I competed on the college’s Equestrian Team, and helped run the Lambing Team and Pre-Veterinary Club. All of my pets are rescues; I currently have a cat, a leopard gecko and guinea pigs. I have had rats, dogs, birds, and fish too! My passion for animal health, welfare and education brought me to SACNH. I’m really glad I found SACNH because it’s such a wonderful place to work, everyone there is absolutely amazing and talented, and I’m not discouraged from learning. When I’m not there, I enjoy being outdoors, reading Stephen King books, and painting pet portraits for pet owners.
